All four-person leagues follow the standard USA Volleyball rulebook with the following exceptions or modifications:
- No open-hand dinks.
- A sideout will be called when the serve hits the net.
- Only one time-out per team per game is allowed.
- Games are played to 15 pts. unless another format is indicated by the referee.
